Biolesna Carbon Technologies is seeking a highly motivated & energetic individual to join our team as a Shift Production and Equipment Operator.
BioLesna Carbon Technologies GP Ltd., based in Carrot River, SK and is a wholly owned subsidiary of British Columbia Biocarbon Ltd. The company operates a biorefinery that produces high quality biochar for global agriculture and horticulture markets. We currently are seeking a Shift Production/Equipment Operator to join our team.
While specific experience in a biorefinery is not expected, interest or experience in pyrolysis, gasification & combustion systems and/or mechanical, electrical & control systems will be valued,
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Ability to work in a team environment in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Be detail oriented.
Have good inter-personal and communication skills.
Have good problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
Possess a very strong commitment to safety.
Experience in operating heavy material handling equipment such as loaders and forklifts will be an asset (Equipment includes but is not limited to Loader/Forklift/Semi Tractor and Trailer)
Experience with various hand tools/power tools is an asset (assist with repairs/maintenance to equipment as required)
