Job Description: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training- Nephrology nursing certificate preferred
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Care of the Patient with Kidney Disease training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Competencies - Basic - Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Time management skills
- Basic - Leadership skills
Knowledge and Abilities- Knowledge relating to the treatment of plasmapheresis and hemodialysis patients

- Must successfully complete dialysis training.
