Job Description
We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician  Food Processing to support our production and quality assurance operations. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring food safety and quality standards throughout the production process and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine quality and food safety inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Monitor critical control points (CCPs) related to temperature control, sanitation, handling procedures, and storage conditions
Assist in implementing and maintaining HACCP-based food safety procedures
Collect samples and perform basic quality checks, including visual inspection, labeling verification, and packaging compliance
Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection logs, and corrective action reports
Verify compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards across production areas and equipment
Support internal audits and assist during regulatory or third-party inspections as required
Communicate quality or safety issues to supervisors and assist with corrective actions

Qualifications
Diploma or post-secondary education in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Food Processing, or a related field
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control practices
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain detailed records
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a food processing environment
HACCP certification is an asset (training can be provided)
