The WASCO PIPE PROTECTION CORPORATION is a leading provider of pipe coating solutions for the oil and gas industry. We are seeking an experienced Training Coordinator that will assist with the development and execution of site-specific training programs and placement. You will help ensure all personnelfrom general labourers to specialized coating technicianspossess the necessary skills and certifications to meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities:
Work with Department Heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs & compliance items, developing and updating training evaluation material as required
Map out training plans and schedules through a training calendar
Manage the onboarding/orientation of new employees
Deliver training programs as required
Identify best training methods for any given training need
Facilitate training bids and subsequent training placements
Maintain an accurate Learning Management System/Training Database to track employee qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Education or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency with Learning Management Software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines
Industry experience is considered an asset
