Key Responsibilities Include:
Transportation & Hauling
Operate tractor trailers, Super B units, end dumps, tankers, or specialty trailers as required.
Transport agricultural commodities, equipment, or freight between fields, yards, elevators, and customer locations.
Perform accurate loading and unloading using augers, conveyors, loaders, or site equipment.
Maintain proper weight distribution and ensure loads meet legal and customer requirements.
Equipment Care & Maintenance
Conduct daily pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections.
Identify mechanical issues and report or assist with basic troubleshooting.
Keep trucks and trailers clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
Compliance & Documentation
Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations, including Hours of Service.
Complete logbooks, bills of lading, scale tickets, and delivery records accurately.
Adhere to company safety policies, PPE requirements, and cargo securement standards.
Customer & Team Interaction
Communicate professionally with dispatch, farm teams, customers, and elevator staff.
Represent the company with a positive, respectful attitude.
Assist with yard work, equipment moves, or general farm duties when required.
