Description

Key Responsibilities Include
Equipment Operation
Operate tractors, air seeders, sprayers, combines, grain carts, swathers, and other farm machinery.
Perform field operations including tillage, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting.
Monitor machine performance and make real time adjustments for optimal efficiency.

Maintenance & Repairs
Conduct daily inspections, lubrication, and basic mechanical repairs.
Identify mechanical issues early and report or assist with troubleshooting.
Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment.

Field & Crop Management Support
Follow field maps, GPS guidance systems, and variable rate prescriptions when applicable.
Record field activities, input usage, and equipment hours accurately.
Assist with grain handling, trucking, and storage operations.

Safety & Compliance
Follow all farm safety protocols and equipment operating procedures.
Handle chemicals and fertilizers according to regulations and farm policies.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

General Farm Duties
Assist with yard maintenance, fencing, shop work, and seasonal tasks.
Support livestock operations if applicable.
Work extended hours during peak seasons (seeding, spraying, harvest).
