Description

Summer positions will be available in following positions: Parks Labourer, Roads & Drainage Labourer Playpark Leader,Engineering Trainee and Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Trainee. Students are responsible for providing additional labour support on City projects or customer service for summer programs.
General Job Requirements:
    No experience required
    Grade 12 or equivalent
    Must be maximum 30 years of age at the start of the employment
    Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
    Valid Class 5 Drivers license and Clean Drivers Abstract (not required for Playpark Leaders)
    Clear Criminal Record Check
    Proof of Post Secondary Registration
    Standard First Aid, CPR, valid Pool Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor Certification (only required for Playpark Leaders)
