Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Cashier at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Perform cashing duties, serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves, perform general housekeeping duties.
Knowledge working understanding of the Point-Of-Sale system (POS), accept payments in cash, credit/debit and provide accurate change when necessary.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery.
Keeping workstation tidy, organized, and sanitized.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems. policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
You must be able to fulfill physical job requirements, standing for extended periods with some repetitive motions.
You have a flexible work schedule including days, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
