Description

As an Inventory Clerk:
You will be maintaining warehouse stock.
You will be assisting in fulfilling orders, processing equipment and shipping and receiving.
You want to build your career and we can help you do that with on the job and industry training.

Main Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading delivery trucks and making sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order/transfer order.
Storing and stocking product and removing related trash. Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and work area.
Processing equipment (digital boxes, modems, EMTAs and security equipment) i.e. initializing new digital boxes, checking and cleaning returned units, and assigns inventory categories to new and returned units.
Participating in cycle counting, and yearend inventory counts.
Reading Blue prints and verifying the parts required prior to assembly. Aligning material and assembling together parts to build sub parts.
Interacting with key stakeholders to monitor supply levels and informing management of potential supply shortages of materials on a regular basis.
Maintain buildings and grounds at Access Communications Cooperative locations and shuttling vehicles to external service providers.
Ability to fill out BOL electronically or manually.
Ensuring all work is performed with safety in mind at all times.

Competencies for success:
Minimum Grade 12 education.
3-5 years warehouse experience.
Class 5 drivers license.
Forklift certification is required.
Supply Chain Management Diploma, or working towards, would be an asset.
Able to work independently in a high volume, fast paced environment.
