PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & experienced Mechanical Engineer in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic systems, and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze engineering specifications and customer requirements
- Design hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder components using SolidWorks
- Select purchased components and perform engineering calculations
- Produce drawings and bills of materials using CAD and ERP tools
- Review drawings for accuracy, materials, tolerances, and finishes
- Ensure designs meet applicable standards and safety requirements
- Assist in developing test plans and performance verification
- Communicate with customers and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Adherence to safe work practices

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar engineering role
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Proficiency in SolidWorks; PDM experience an asset
- Understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
- Experience with ISO quality environments considered an asset
- Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
