SRC is constructing North Americas first fully integrated, commercial demonstration Rare Earth Processing Facility with hydrometallurgy, separation, and metal smelting stages. The facility is currently producing rare earth metals at commercial scale and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026. The Facility will be the first-of-its-kind in North America and will begin to establish a rare earth element (REE) technology hub in Saskatchewan, forming an industry model for future commercial REE initiatives and supply chain development.
Available Positions
The REE team is seeking multiple Summer Students to support commissioning and operational readiness of SRCs Rare Earth Processing Facility. All openings are term positions from May 2026 to August 2026 and are open to current students and new grads:

The chosen candidate will also be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
