About the Role
As a Welder at WRT, you will work with structural and plate steel to build components for our aggregate, asphalt, and mining equipment. Youll read drawings, fit and weld assemblies to specifications, and help ensure every product leaving the shop meets WRTs standards for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Fit, weld, and assemble steel components according to blueprints and procedures
Inspect and verify components for conformance to drawings and specifications
Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing on completed welds as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Participate in company safety and quality programs
Identify and report non-conformances or quality issues
Assist in other production areas as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proficient in GMAW and other welding processes (welding personnel must pass a flat groove GMAW test coupon as a minimum requirement for employment at WRT Equipment Ltd.)
Able to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Capable of working independently or within a team environment
Must hold and maintain a valid Class 5 drivers license
