Co-op Ethanol Complex is hiring a permanent full time Grain Receiving & Loadout near Belle Plaine, SK.
Shift: Monday  Friday 8:00 am  4:30 pm with the possibility of overtime
The Material Handler is responsible for the receiving of inbound feedstock & outbound movement of Wet Distillers Grain (WDG), Dry Distillers Grain (DDG), Ethanol rail cars, & various maintenance & administrative activities. Duties include:
Probing trucks, analysis of grain for quality characteristics & completion of grain receipts.
Operating a front-end loader or skid steer to load WDG trucks & DDG trucks.
Completing administrative work & operating overhead shipping scale.
Loading ethanol into tank cars using the ethanol skid.
Clean & maintain rail track & switches.
Snow removal & general maintenance of rail track, switches, roads and site.
Support other departments by completing such activities such as safety watch.
You are looking for a career in Production, Trades & Maintenance and:
Grade 12 diploma, have a minimum of 1  3 years of relevant experience grain grading & receiving, operating heavy equipment, or rail operations, or transferable skills.
Heavy equipment certification is preferred & have strong customer service skills

This is a unionized role with UNIFOR Canada Local 594. You would be subject to pay union dues as part of the collective agreement. This position has a starting wage of $33.18/ hour & overtime is paid at double time.
