Ghost Transportation Services is growing, and were looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our brokerage team. This is a key role for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and knows how to keep freight moving efficiently and profitably.
This position plays a hands-on role in managing daily freight operations while supporting customers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver reliable, high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage freight from pickup to delivery
Coordinate with internal company assets, departments and locations along with outside carriers to ensure proper flow and management of freight
Provide project and single shipment rates
Source carriers and negotiate competitive rates
Build and maintain strong carrier and customer relationships
Track shipments and resolve service issues quickly
Ensure accurate load setup, documentation, and billing
Provide proactive customer updates
Support process improvements and company growth
Assist with mentoring junior team members
Qualifications
5+ years in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation coordination
Strong understanding of freight markets and carrier sourcing
Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Strong evidence of critical thinking abilities
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with TMS systems
CCLMP designation is a benefit
