The Rural Municipality of Wolverine No. 340 is currently accepting applications for a Qualified Rural Administrator to begin as soon as possible.
The RM of Wolverine No. 340 has a population of 511 and is located in the un-organized hamlet of Burr; approximately 19 kms south of Humboldt along Hwy 20; 30 kms north of Lanigan and 130 kms east of Saskatoon. The municipality is in close proximity to the Nutrien Lanigan Potash Mine, the BHP Jansen Mine Site and the Sask Power Aspen Project.
The Administrator is supported by a part-time Administrative Assistant and reports directly to Council and is responsible for the operations of the municipality in accordance with municipal policies and bylaws.
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Certificate in Local Government Administration or equivalent;
A minimum Rural Class C Certificate issued by the Rural Municipal Administrators Association is required;
Proficiency in municipal accounting, municipal laws, human resources, payroll, asset management
Experience with Munisoft Software, Microsoft Office Programs, Catalis (formerly All-Net) paperless meeting software and GIS program for asset management;
The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently;
Strong communication, management, organizational, and inter-personal skills;
Agricultural and residential development experience;
Discretion with matters pertaining to confidentiality;
Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy;
