Job Description

Shift:  3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the effective operation of the mechanical systems and taking the initiative to repair equipment that requires attention to prevent downtime
-Repair or replace defective machinery parts
-Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
-Installation or assembly of machinery and equipment
-Completing Preventative Maintenance Work Orders by assigned completion date
-Mentor/train Millwright Apprentices
-Keep all maintenance areas clean and in order
-Responsible for your own tools at all times
-Responsible for following company HACCP policies and procedures to ensure product quality
-Carry out all duties in a safe manner
-Read and understand manuals and trouble shooting procedures on new equipment
-Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Must have a Millwright Journeyperson certification
-Must have proven track record of good attendance
-Must be physically fit
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision
-Must be able to understand both verbal and written English

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $41.81 per hour
Shift Premium:  $0.90 per hour
