Description

Join a busy Saskatoon collision and glass shop where estimators own the repair plan, set clear expectations with customers and SGI or other insurers, and keep cycle times tight without sacrificing OEM standards.

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dealership operations, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

The Estimator plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction within our dealership or repair facility.

What youll do

Write accurate, photorich estimates that follow OE procedures, insurer guidelines, and shop policies; choose repair-first where safe, then source parts efficiently.
Guide customers through the repair process, set timelines, explain deductibles, and maintain updates in the management and estimating systems.
Collaborate with production and parts to monitor repair progress, upload supplements promptly, and control return rates.
Use Mitchell/Audatex or equivalent; keep files current with dates, notes, invoices, and final approvals for clean closes.
What you bring

13+ years in collision estimating is preferred; proficiency in Mitchell/Audatex or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of OE repair standards, and repair-vs-replace decisions.
Clear, empathetic communicator who can set expectations, upsell needed services ethically, and manage a fast-moving queue.
Valid Class 5 license and strong attention to detail.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
