The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to support park operations at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. The ministry offers a seasonal, fulltime opportunity focused on maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming park facilities that enhance visitor experience and support the ministrys mission of recreation, heritage, and cultural stewardship. This role contributes directly to the upkeep of provincial park lands and the overall quality of services provided to residents and visitors.

The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who can work independently, handle physical tasks, and maintain a positive work environment. They communicate clearly with the public, respond courteously to inquiries, and demonstrate sound judgment when identifying issues and determining solutions. The position requires the ability to lift and move equipment, follow safety standards, and adapt to varied maintenance tasks throughout the season.

Key knowledge and skills include experience with building or park maintenance, familiarity with hand tools and light equipment, and strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices. Knowledge of safe equipment operation, minor repairs, WHMIS, OH&S, and public health regulations is important. A valid drivers licence is required.
