The ideal candidate is adaptable, resilient, and able to work in a dynamic environment with adults who may have diverse backgrounds, trauma histories, and complex needs. They communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem solving, and timemanagement skills. Candidates must be inclusive, culturally responsive, and capable of building constructive relationships while maintaining professionalism and integrity. A valid Class 5 drivers licence and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are required.

Key knowledge and skills include understanding the criminal justice system, human behaviour, legislation, and policy, along with proficiency in computer systems. Education in social sciences, law enforcement, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is typically needed. Responsibilities include monitoring and supervising offenders, supporting case plans, leading daily programming, assessing risk, applying safe intervention strategies, and contributing to interdisciplinary teamwork.
