The Fleet Services Branch within the Ministry of Highways is seeking highly motivated individuals interested in apprentice mechanic opportunities throughout the province. You will assist Journeyperson technicians with mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on highway construction and maintenance equipment, working in both shop and field settings. Travel and occasional overnight stays may be required.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined and hold a second, third, or fourth-year apprentice certificate in Truck Transport, Heavy Duty, or Agricultural Technician trades. Those with mechanical pre-employment training may also be considered. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively are essential.
