Description

The Ministry of Highways is seeking a Project Manager who is consultative and client-focused to contribute to the planning and operations of the Saskatchewan highway system. As Project Manager, the successful candidate will serve as an integral team member of the Traffic Engineering and Development group responsible for planning and operating the transportation system. Your key responsibility will be performing engineering studies to improve the safety and efficiency of the transportation system through roadway management regulations and safety programs.  

The ideal candidate will possess a BSc. degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Sciences or equivalent and be eligible for registration in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). You will have the ability to examine and appropriately provide information to the general public on such issues as the ministry's policies and standards and traffic operations; knowledge of traffic, hydraulic, geometric design, construction engineering principles and methodologies; and the ability to access, enter, update and maintain databases and other information sources.

Overnight travel will be occasionally required.
