Westridge Construction is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for accounting and financial oversight for the company including joint venture, real estate, and major projects, approval management for key financial transactions, and leading accounting initiatives and process improvements across the company. This position plays an important role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting project teams, and ensuring timely, accurate financial information for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all accounting activities related to joint venture, real estate and major projects
* Prepare and analyze financial statements and project reporting
* Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting for JV partners
* Oversee job costing, expense tracking, and cost trend analysis
* Maintain company-wide revenue tracking and forecasting
* Develop, maintain, and administer approval workflows
* Review and approve financial transactions
* Implement and maintain internal controls
* Lead accounting initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement projects

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
* CPA designation or working toward CPA preferred
* Minimum of five years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry
* Experience with job costing, project accounting, and financial analysis
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Sage 300 CRE is an asset
