Description

Blackpine Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Log Truck Driver with a valid Class 1A licence to haul logs safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting logs from harvesting sites to designated locations while following all safety regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities:
        Safely operate a log truck to transport logs to and from job sites
        Load and secure logs properly in compliance with safety standards
        Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
        Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
        Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel
        Operate in bush, highway, and mill environments
        Follow all provincial transportation and safety regulations

Qualifications:
        Valid Class 1A drivers licence
        Previous log hauling or heavy truck experience preferred
        Strong understanding of load securement and safe driving practices
        Ability to work independently and responsibly
        Mechanically inclined and able to identify basic vehicle issues
        Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
