Position and Responsibilities
-Maintain and support underground heavy equipment through a combination of preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
-Advanced diagnostics, fault finding, component rebuilds, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and availability in a continuous mining operation.
Requirements of the position:
-valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty equipment mechanic certificate or, agricultural mechanic certificate;
-five years of related underground or surface experience with mobile heavy equipment maintenance;
-ability to utilize original equipment manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic software;
-team player with good communication skills;
-excellent safety record; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
-reliability or predictive maintenance experience; and
-familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP.
