Description

The Schedule & Pay


Schedule: Work MondayThursday (10-hour days) and enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

No Evenings or Weekends: Work hard during the week and have your summer weekends to yourself.

Duration: May through August.

Wages: $20/hr for post-secondary students.


Outdoor Environment & Expectations


This position is perfect for someone who prefers being on the move rather than sitting at a desk. Please note the following:


100% Outdoor Work: You will be working outside in all elements, including heat, wind, and rain.

Active Days: This is a physically active role that requires the energy to stay on your feet and remain productive throughout a 10-hour shift.

Commuting: Applicants must be local or willing to commute daily to Sunset Beach. (Note: No student accommodations are provided).


Key Responsibilities


Working as part of a small, dependable team, you will handle the daily upkeep of:

Grounds Maintenance: Grass cutting using zero-turn mowers and trimming using wipper snippers.

Trees: Tree planting, watering, hand-weeding, and general tree care.

Site Upkeep: Maintaining trails, beach access points, and general green space cleanliness.

Equipment Operation: Operating zero-turn mowers, wipper snippers, quads, and side-by-sides.

General Tasks: Assisting with seasonal projects and basic equipment maintenance.


Who This Role Is For


This position is a great fit for students who:


Are currently in Post-Secondary education.

Are reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Have a positive attitude and the willingness to work in a physical, outdoor environment.

Are willing to take direction and work well within a small team.

Previous landscaping or farm work experience is an asset, but not required.
