Description

JJ Trucking Ltd. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment / Earthwork Supervisor to lead crews, manage job sites, and serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable supervising field operations and handling customer communication professionally and confidently.
The successful candidate will carry a company phone and be responsible for responding to customer inquiries and job requests, preparing estimates, coordinating crews and equipment, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities
     Supervise and coordinate heavy equipment, crews, and multiple job sites
     Act as the primary point of contact for customers; handle calls promptly and professionally  
     Coordinate work with other supervisors, subcontractors, and contractors
    Order materials, supplies, and equipment as required
    Ensure all health and safety regulations and company policies are followed
    Oversee workers and projects to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
    Train employees or arrange required training
    Conduct site inspections, identify and resolve issues, and provide daily progress reports

Qualifications & Skills
    Proven experience supervising heavy equipment and earthwork projects
    Comfortable dealing directly with customers and representing the company
    Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
    Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
    Mechanical aptitude
    Experience with GPS / Trimble software is considered an asset
