Description

Sunset Bay Resort, a four-season family vacation destination at Emma Lake, Saskatchewan, is looking for an experienced Resort Manager. Located 50 km north of Prince Albert, we offer cabins, a lodge, a full-service marina, permanent trailer sites, and a laundromat.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily resort operations, including staff hiring, training, and mentoring.
Manage guest relations and ensure high service standards in all areas, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and front desk duties.
Coordinate seasonal opening/closing, facility maintenance, and ensure organization and cleanliness.
Develop and implement guest programs and events.
Manage budgets, payroll, and financial reporting.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and community partners.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and licensing regulations.
Oversee marketing and social media platforms.
Display strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Adapt to a seasonal, outdoor resort environment with a focus on customer service and problem-solving.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, resort, lodging, or tourism management.
Certification in hospitality management (recognized by Canada).
Knowledge of booking systems, basic accounting, Excel, and Word.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to meet the demands of a seasonal resort environment.
Compensation:
Salary: $36,000$70,000/year (based on experience)
Accommodation included (estimated value of $3,500/month)
