Leading Thunderbird Lodge is seeking an innovative, professional & culturally knowledgeable individual to temporarily (6-months) fill this senior clinical role. Leading Thunderbird Lodge is a 10 bed residential treatment center located near the Town of Fort Qu'Appelle. Leading Thunderbird Lodge provides First Nation & Inuit male youth with a 12 week culturally based holistic treatment program focusing on mental health & addictions.
Qualifications
The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Executive Director. Candidates must possess the following: Degree in any of the following professional disciplines: social work, psychology, counseling, clinical sociology, or substance abuse/addictions treatment.
.Membership in an appropriate professional association or certification body
.Experience providing therapy & supervisory services for youth
.Familiarity with Aboriginal cultures & contemporary social realities gained through experience working with First Nation youth, communities & organizations
Responsibilities
.Manages overall clinical supervision of the clinical team
.Manages delivery of overall treatment program
.Manages clinical teams performance evaluation process through LTL's competency-based performance evaluation process
.Manages all aspects of youth referral, intake, treatment, discharge & follow-up process
.Manages data input/assessment reporting of AMIS database system
.Manages annual clinical program budget
.Supervises & coaches clinical team in developing knowledge of causality, prevention, diagnosis & treatment of substance use & concurrent disorders, & integrating this new knowledge into their work with youth
.Supervises clinical team in general case management tasks
.Oversees quality assurance of clinical services
.Oversees medication management services within scope of practice
.Approves weekly schedules
.Ensures clinical team meets core competencies of their position description
