We are hiring for an Estimator for our client in Regina.
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis.
Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tender documents.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers for pricing and scope clarification.
Monitor changes in material and labour costs.
Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records.
Assist with project budgeting and cost control as required.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field OR equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimating (construction/industrial preferred).
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
