Prairie Valley School Division is inviting applications for the position of Vice Principal at Emerald Ridge Elementary School.  Emerald Ridge Elementary School offers Kindergarten to Grade 8 programming to an enrolment of approximately 476 students.  There is a professional staff compliment of 26.60 FTE teachers and 16.42 FTE support staff.  Emerald Ridge Elementary School provides a strong academic program and supports students to become caring, competent, responsible citizens who value education and life-long learning.  White City is located 25km east of Regina.

Education & Experience:
Candidates will have a Bachelor of Education, Professional A teaching certificate, a master's degree in a related field (or willingness to obtain as a condition of employment) and demonstrated leadership experience.  Experience as a school-based administrator is considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities:
By way of cover letter and resume, candidates will demonstrate experience in the 4 competency areas of learning leadership, human resource leadership, setting direction, and professional leadership attributes and orientation.

Terms:  Start date to be determined.

Compensation & Assignment:
This position includes 100% administrative duties.  Salary and benefits are outlined in the STF Provincial Collective Bargaining agreement and Local Collective Bargaining Agreement for teachers.  The current administrative allowance is approximately $16,561.
