Group Home Coordinator (Full-Time)

THE ORGANIZATION
Founded in 1955 as the Lutheran Sunset Home of Saskatoon, LutherCare provides excellence in care, housing, and community services within a nurturing Christian environment. We offer a continuum of living in which individuals may remain a part of a nurturing and supportive community even as their needs change. We work on our own and in partnership with the Lutheran community, government agencies and private developers. We own and or operate facilities in Saskatoon, Regina, Outlook and Estevan. Our services are open to all.

In Saskatoon, we own and operate 6 group homes that support physically and cognitively challenged adults.


THE POSITION
As a Group Home Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, including programming, human resources, and financial management.


THE APPLICANTS
Applicants typically qualify for this position through the completion of a Rehabilitation Worker Diploma. Applicants must be experienced with a minimum of three years working with developmentally disabled adults in a residential setting. One year of which must be in a supervisory role. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Good working knowledge of program development and the basic principles related to financial and human resource management is required.
