Description

Sask DLC requires a temporary full time Visual Arts teacher. The position will commence on February 23rd, 2026 and end on June 26, 2026. The position will be at any of the following Sask DLC campuses - Kenaston, La Ronge, Yorkton, Estevan, Moose Jaw.

Sask DLC is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLCs head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses located in Estevan, Kenaston, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Neilburg, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton.

Sask DLC online teachers deliver high-quality instruction and assessment for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses. This position involves the delivery of Saskatchewan Visual Arts curricula through asynchronous or synchronous learning models. Online teachers possess a strong understanding of digital platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams and are committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging online learning environment. The online teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to plan, track student progress, communicate with parents, and integrate First Nations and Mtis perspectives into curriculum delivery.

Curriculum and Planning:
* Sask DLC uses a centralized model for course development. Content can be configured for students aligned with the adaptive dimension.
* Provide high-quality asynchronous or synchronous program delivery to students in Grade 10-12 using the centralized course content aligned with the Saskatchewan curriculum, engaging lessons and activities, formative and summative assessment, and meaningful resources.
* Integrate First Nation and Mtis content, world views, ways of knowing and culture within curricula outcomes and program delivery.
