Labour Unit is recruiting two experienced Agricultural Service Technicians for a well-established agricultural equipment client in Saskatchewan. We are seeking Journeyman / Red Sealcertified technicians with strong mechanical, diagnostic, and repair skills.
These roles support busy service operations in both shop and field environments and offer competitive wages, overtime, and relocation support for the right candidates.
Compensation & Benefits
$40 $52/hour (based on experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5 (not banked)
34 weeks vacation
$1,000/year tool allowance (accrued monthly; usable for boots)
Comprehensive group benefits (90-day wait; may be waived)
Paid training & continuing education
Relocation assistance available (service agreement required)
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and service agricultural equipment
Shop-based repairs and mobile field service
Operate service trucks
Participate in rotating on-call schedule
Mentor apprentices and support junior technicians
Maintain safety, quality, and documentation standards
Qualifications
Journeyman or Red Seal certification (Ag or Heavy Duty)
Minimum 3 years journeyman experience
Strong ag equipment background preferred
Heavy Duty technicians considered
Automotive technicians not suitable
Farming/ranching background is an asset
Fluent English (spoken & written)
4th-year apprentices with strong experience and willingness to challenge the Journeyman exam may be considered.
Requirements
Own tools, toolboxes, and steel-toed boots
Employer provides PPE (coveralls, gloves, eye protection)
