Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Assistant Kitchen Manager at our Canadian Brewhouse restaurant in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Your Purpose: The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for acting as a direct support to the Kitchen Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the entire culinary department. They are responsible for ensuring all actions brought forth by the Kitchen Manager are implemented and followed and will oversee the hourly culinary team members as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in the restaurant / food service industry and:
You possess 2+ years of kitchen experience in a high-volume setting and possess 1-2 years of culinary supervisory experience; you possess a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of technical cooking skills with prep and line knowledge required
You have a basic understanding of food cost controls
You possess or are willing to attain Serve it Right, Food Wise, and First Aid certifications
You have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations
You have the ability to learn and retain a large and diverse menu
