Description

Position Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Pool Manager, the Recreation Practitioner and the Director of Recreation & Parks.
Provide the public with information and direction pertaining the RECplex Aquatic Centre programs.
Accept and accurately record program registrations, withdrawals, swim attendance and swim admissions.
Process all revenue generated within the facility and prepare cash reports with organized records.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining of the facility, completing daily cleaning duties.
To be familiar with the facilitys emergency procedures and assist as directed by the Pool Manager.
To work in cooperation with instructors and the Pool Manager by organizing lesson sheets, report cards.
To maintain a sufficient stock of all confectionary items and to order or pick up more supplies as needed.
To actively participate and attend in-service training sessions.
Keep a record of inventory of the first aid kit and ensure it is well stocked, replace items as necessary.
Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, to fulfill program requirements.
Perform additional duties and provide additional support as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/skills include:
It is expected that ALL applicants will include copies of all current certifications and awards when they apply.
Ability to operate a cash register
Possess good customer service skills
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C is an asset
Young Workers Readiness Course (if applicable)
