Description

We're seeking an experienced framer carpenter to join our team and help build high-quality custom homes. You'll work on projects ranging from energy-efficient new builds to complex renovations, with opportunities to develop your skills in advanced building science techniques.

Compensation: $25.00-35.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM5:00 PM (project dependent)
Start Date: Tuesday, February 24th, 2026
Employment Type: Hourly Full-time, onsite

What You'll Do
- Frame residential structures including walls, floors, roofs, and stairs
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Install engineered lumber products and advanced framing systems
- Work with high-performance building envelope details
- Ensure all work meets building codes and CFN quality standards
- Collaborate with other trades to maintain project schedules
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of framing experience in residential construction
- Strong understanding of residential framing techniques and building codes
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Comfortable working at heights (roofs, scaffolding, ladders)
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs)
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Own basic hand tools and tool belt
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Passionate about high-quality delivery and craftsmanship in every task

Nice to Have:
- Experience with energy-efficient or high-performance construction
- Experience with advanced framing techniques
- Knowledge of air sealing and building envelope details
