Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, The Physical Therapist  Degree - Senior will act as the clinical leader for the Saskatchewan Hip and Knee Pathway and Regina Hip and Knee Treatment and Research Centre. The Physical Therapist  Degree  Senior works collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons in a multi-disciplinary clinic to assist with determining patients who are appropriate for joint replacement. The incumbent will provide support and direction to the physical therapist(s) - degree as necessary, as well as participating in the assessment, treatment, education and evaluation for Orthopedic Patients in an outpatient setting.
The Physical Therapist  Degree - Senior will work closely and collaboratively with the referring Primary Care Practitioner and Orthopedic Surgeons to ensure continuity and high-quality care.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in assessment and treatment of Orthopedic Patients
Other Education and Training:
- Registered or eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
- CPR certification at Level C is required
- Level 2 Certification in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy or greater is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
