Hours of Work: 25 working 7a-9a & 3p-6p - Monday to Friday - when school is in session

Under the general supervision of the Director of the Center for Play and Development the Before and After School Educator is responsible to maintain and develop the childrens program with their group of school aged children in the before and after school program.
This position is responsible to maintain and develop children's morning and afternoon programs while attending the B&A program. Team Members are responsible for developing short and long range of activities. These individuals are responsible for daily communication with the parent(s), child(ren), Assistant Director, and Director regarding any concerns, needs, and guidance.
The role requires walking in all four seasons with the children to and from school as well as daily bus scheduled pick up and drop off.
This team member must adhere to all the policies and regulations as set out in the policy manual.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
Criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
CPR / First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Good written and verbal communication skills
ASSET:
Experience working with school aged children
Early Childhood Education level
