Description

Grain Millers Canada is seeking a reliable Shipper/Turret Truck Operator to support safe and efficient warehouse operations. This role is responsible for shipping and receiving activities, operating forklift equipment, and ensuring all products meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift equipment safely to move, store, and stage product
- Complete pre-operational equipment inspections
- Perform shipping and receiving functions, including transferring, racking, staging, and loading product
- Inspect outgoing product and transport vessels to ensure compliance with customer and company standards
- Accurately complete electronic shipping, receiving, inventory, and transfer documentation using WOW inventory systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma required
- Forklift operator certification considered an asset
- Ability to complete required forklift training and certification
- Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet and in tight warehouse spaces
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work in a grain processing environment with exposure to grain and grain dust

Hours of Work
12-hour modified shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
