The Town of Bredenbury is accepting resumes for the position of Public Works Position. We are looking for an individual who is positive, community orientated, is a team player and takes direction well.
Applicant must have operating skills with Grader, Skidsteer, mowers, Loader. Applicant must have mechanical skills to be able to do minor maintenance on equipment and daily checks.
The duties include but are not limited to: snow removal, grading, cutting grass, cutting trees, daily water testing, daily wastewater testing, caretaking, garbage removal, equipment maintenance etc.
Position is currently Monday - Friday 7-4 but hours may vary during snowfalls, emergencies. Start and end time may be amended. Weekend water testing required on a rotating schedule and paid as overtime.
The applicant must have a valid driver's license and preference to have a Grade 12(or equivalent). Class 1 Water Treatment & Distribution and Class 1 Waste Water would be an asset but not necessary.
