Micah Mission is seeking an Interim Executive Director to provide steady, values-aligned leadership during a six-month transition period.
The Interim Executive Director will ensure organizational continuity, support Micah's restorative justice programs, and work closely with the Board of Directors during a period of strategic exploration. This is a blended role that combines executive leadership with hands-on program oversight and facilitation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with the Board of Directors and supporting effective governance.
- Providing day-to-day organizational leadership and operational stability.
- Overseeing and participating in restorative justice programming, including Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA), Reintegration Circles, and Person-to-Person programming.
- Supporting volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing coordination.
- Maintaining relationships with community, correctional, and justice partners.
- Providing basic financial and administrative oversight in collaboration with the bookkeeper.
- Maintaining relationships with existing funders and completing required reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in human services or a related field, or an equivalent combination of academic and professional experience.
- Experience in nonprofit leadership or senior program coordination.
- Strong relational, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
- Ability to provide a current Canadian Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search as a condition of employment.
