Description

The Town of Tisdale Recreation and Parks Department is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks and
Recreations Worker to join our team for the 2026 season.
Position Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Foreman and the Director of Recreation & Parks.
Maintenance and upkeep of parks, green spaces, trails, cemetery grounds, and recreational facilities
Operation and basic maintenance of department equipment and machinery
Lawn care, landscaping, and groundskeeping duties
Assisting with set-up and tear-down of recreational events and facilities
Ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained
Work collaboratively with all staff to meet operational goals
Perform additional duties and provide additional support as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/skills include:
It is expected that ALL applicants will include copies of all current certifications and awards when they apply.
Valid drivers license and drivers abstract
Possess and demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge in various types of equipment
Responsible, self-motivated, team-oriented
Ability to work independently
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
