Description

Lumsden Beach Camp is seeking a reliable and hardworking Camp Maintenance Manager to help ensure our buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and well cared for throughout the summer season. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, can work independently, and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming camp environment. Must be able to live on-site during staff training and throughout the camp season.

Site Maintenance & Daily Operations
Complete daily task lists (e.g., garbage removal, washroom cleaning, water testing, basic repairs, etc.)
Respond to maintenance needs as they arise to support campers, staff, renters, and volunteers
Monitor cleaning and paper supply inventory and order supplies as needed
Maintain camp grounds (mowing, weed trimming around buildings, tree trimming, garden care, etc.)
Repairs & General Maintenance
Perform general maintenance as needed (painting, patching screens, repairing decks, fixing stairs, etc.)
Identify issues that require specialized skills and help source the right person/support when needed
Assist the Aquatics Coordinator with basic swimming pool maintenance
Take on other duties as assigned by the Camp Director
