Help keep our citys facilities safe, secure, and built to last. As a Locksmith/Carpenter, youll combine skilled locksmithing with journeypersonlevel carpentry to install, maintain, and repair locks, hardware, and building components across City of Regina facilities.
Position Summary
- Install, adjust, maintain, and repair locks, hardware, and security systems.
- Perform rough and finished carpentry for construction, renovation, and maintenance work.
- Design and maintain master key systems and operate keycutting equipment.
- Read drawings, prepare sketches, and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, oversee subcontractors, and support general building repairs.
What You Bring
- 4000+ hours of recent locksmith experience.
- Journeyperson Carpenter certification with 23 years of recent experience.
- Willingness to obtain Locksmith Certification within 2 years.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills and the physical ability to perform labourintensive tasks.
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers licence and First Aid Certificate.
