AGT Foods is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Regina Head Office team.  

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a current student graduating in April, and we are happy to offer a flexible start date to accommodate academic schedules.

The Financial Reporting Accountant (FRA) will be a key part of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for the information flow in and out of the consolidation software (Onestream)
    Contribute to monthly and quarterly consolidation and financial reporting processes
    Prepare journal entries
    Prepare account reconciliations
    Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements including note preparation/ review, financial statement tie outs and rolls, etc
    Assist the financial reporting team with various monthly and quarterly tasks including variance analysis templates, subsidiary consolidation schedule tie outs, etc.
    Assist with internal control testing
    Provide backup coverage to various accounting team members creating excellent learning opportunities and breadth
    Other accounting and finance duties as necessary

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    University graduate, intending to enroll in CPA program
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook
    Attention to planning, process, and detail
    Quick learner
    Desire for continued improvement and understanding
    Able to communicate effectively with different internal groups around the world
