AGT Foods is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Regina Head Office team.  

The Financial Reporting Analyst (FRA) will be a key part of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Contribute to monthly and quarterly consolidation and financial reporting processes
    Ensure timely and accurate information is provided to stakeholders
    Prepare / review journal entries
    Prepare account reconciliations
    Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements including note preparation/review, financial statement tie outs and rolls, etc.
    Assist the financial reporting team with various monthly and quarterly tasks including variance analysis templates, subsidiary consolidation schedule tie outs, etc.
    Liaise with foreign subsidiaries and auditors on various financial reporting and audit related matters
    Provide backup coverage to various accounting team members creating excellent learning opportunities and breadth
    Other accounting and finance duties as necessary

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    CPA designation or actively enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program
    3-6 years of experience preferred
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook
    Attention to planning, process, and detail
    Quick learner
    Desire for continued improvement and understanding
    Able to communicate effectively with different internal groups around the world
