Description

We are currently seeking Logistics Specialist to join our Saskatoon Manufacturing Plant.

The Qualified Candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree Mechanical, Industrial, Logistics or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Engineer in Training (EIT) in good standing with a Canadian engineering association.
- Knowledge of philosophy, principles and implementation of lean manufacturing and capability to apply this knowledge in existing production and management processes.
- Knowledge of logistics in order to implement processes and operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
- Knowledge of material handling and management in plants and the ability to monitor and improve processes related to storage, transportation and handling of raw and hazardous materials.
- Broad knowledge of line scheduling, rates of production, machines, tooling, set-ups, unit variations, orders and speeds of operation, capacities, sheets, blueprints, alternative processes.
- Previous experience with company products, and sources of supply
