CKH Bookkeeping & Payroll is a growing company committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and fostering a collaborative work environment. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Intermediate/Full Cycle Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in [accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, etc.].


Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.


Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.


Process payroll and related source deductions/remittances.


Prepare and file GST/HST/PST/QST returns.


Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.


Support management with financial reports, budgets, and cash flow tracking.


Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies and standards.


Qualifications
5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.


Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.


Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage is an asset.


Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.


Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.


Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.


Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.




Understanding of Canadian payroll and sales tax regulations.
