Position Overview:
As a Program Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals living in Hope Restored Canada's 24-hour staffed home. You will provide compassionate support to participants, ensuring their safety, well-being, and access to resources as they navigate their journey toward holistic restoration. This role is specifically for weekend overnight shifts; additional shifts available as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Build trusting, respectful relationships with program participants.
Provide day-to-day support, including assistance with activities of daily living, skill-building, and emotional support where applicable.
Collaborate with Case Workers to develop and implement individualized recovery plans where applicable.
Monitor and maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment within the home.
Accompany participants to appointments (e.g., medical, legal, court) as needed.
Respond to crisis situations calmly and effectively, ensuring participants safety and well-being.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant interactions and progress.
