The Executive Director (ED) is responsible to the Board for implementing the vision and mandate of the organization. The ED provides leadership in identifying priorities and objectives, supporting programs and committees and ensuring CMHA PAs financial and organizational viability. The ED is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors

Successful Candidate must have
Degree or relevant experience
Strong business acumen with 3 or more years of experience in management preferably with non-profit organizations.
Knowledge of the principles for non-profit organizations
Proven success working with a board of directors
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Experience in managing budgets
Entrepreneurial mindset, with innovation approach to business planning
Integrity, respect and empowered
Knowledge of the city and our history
Eligible to work in Canada legally
Work experience in human services is an asset
Experience in fundraising
